This sparkling wine is a special edition made exclusively for The Black Swan. A blend of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from the much lauded 2013 vintage. It has spent 3 years on the lees. Flavours of apple, with honeysuckle, mango, and vanilla.
Charles Palmer, son Robert and family planted their vines back in 2006 at Wickham Manor just outside the village of Winchelsea. Their first Champagne method sparkling wines were made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in 2009. More recently they built a new winery just metres away from the vines, so now the whole process of growing and producing award-winning wines happens on the farm.
