The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards is one of the most coveted events in the culinary calendar, and The Black Swan team were thrilled to be at The Hurlingham Club this year to scoop the number 32 spot.

With 61 of the spaces being taken by London restaurants, we were thrilled to join only a few other Yorkshire-based restaurants on the list: The Angel at Hetton (12) The Man Behind The Curtain (61), Jöro (77) and Le Cochon Aveugle (94).

Scoring the top spot are our good friends Gareth Ward and Amelia Eiriksson from Ynyshir, the first time a restaurant in Wales has scored number one – well done guys!

We’re also super pleased to see so many of our brilliant colleagues and friends in the industry including Simon Rogan with L’Enclume, Kenny Atkinson of House of Tides in Newcastle and No. 6 by Paul Ainsworth.

In 2021, Tommy also took home Restaurateur of the Year.
