The Exmoor Caviar farm is situated at the foothills of the Exmoor National Park where 40 million litres of fresh Devonshire water, naturally filtered through slate, shale and sandstone, pass through the farm every day. The sturgeon fish are allowed to grow at the pace that nature intended in this fresh cool mineral water. The clean and natural delicate flavours of the caviar are enhanced by locally harvested Cornish Sea Salt. With sustainability and quality as its core values, Exmoor Caviar also supplies sturgeon meat, both fresh and smoked alongside their caviar offering, ensuring that no part of the precious fish is wasted.
This sparkling wine is a special edition made exclusively for The Black Swan. A blend of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from the much lauded 2013 vintage. It has spent 3 years on the lees. Flavours of apple, with honeysuckle, mango, and vanilla. Charles Palmer, son Robert and family planted their vines back in 2006 at Wickham Manor just outside the village of Winchelsea. Their first Champagne method sparkling wines were made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in 2009. More recently they built a new winery just metres away from the vines, so now the whole process of growing and producing award-winning wines happens on the farm.
Orders will be delivered between 9am – 5pm with a contactless drop. Contactless delivery is a way for us to keep our guests and staff healthy and safe. We’ll leave the box directly at your front door, knock and wait at a safe distance for you to collect. If there is no answer, we will text you and wait a further 5 minutes, after this time it will be left unattended.
